Jesus calls us not only to seek him as Lord of our lives. He also commissions us to seek out to do what's in the best interest of those in need around us (locally, regionally, and globally).
Illinois Mennonite Conference supports the work of the Illinois Mennonite Disaster Service and MCC Great Lakes. We do this through our giving of finances, time in leadership, volunteering at MCC thrift stores, the MCC Appalachia Builds program, MCC Meat Canning, and ILMDS work teams, and supporting the Illinois Mennonite Relief Sale each year, and numerous other local, regional, and global relief efforts.
